The particle size of the material at the feed inlet is too large
Excessive material particles will cause additional burdens on the ball mill, and individual oversized material particles are not easy to be crushed by the steel balls, which greatly reduces the output power of the ball mill and increases the power consumption of the ball mill. At the same time, the materials are continuously fed into the barrel of the ball mill, and the unground materials will be thrown out from the discharge port of the ball mill.
During operation, the operator of the ball mill should closely monitor the particle size of the material on the feeder. If the particle size is found to exceed the upper limit of the designed particle size, the feed should be reduced or stopped immediately, and corresponding measures should be taken to ensure the size of the feed. The diameter is qualified.
Insufficient or untimely replenishment of steel balls
After the ball mill has been running for a long time, the steel ball wears severely, the diameter is reduced, and the impact force is correspondingly weakened. When the replenishment of steel balls in the ball mill is insufficient or not timely, the output power of the ball mill may be insufficient.
In order to maintain a certain ball filling coefficient and steel ball diameter, the operator of the ball mill should regularly add qualified steel balls to the ball mill according to the current of the ball mill and the accumulated amount of grinding materials, so as to reduce the wear and tear and maintain the ball load filling rate.
Damage to the liner in the mill cylinder
The perfect cylinder liner of the ball mill can increase the friction coefficient between the steel ball and the liner, which is beneficial to improve the steel ball and materials and improve the processing capacity of the ball mill. As for the liner with severe wear, there is a relatively large relative sliding between the steel ball and the liner, so more energy will be consumed in the friction between the steel ball and the liner, which cannot be used to lift the steel ball, resulting in The output power of the ball mill is obviously reduced, and the material is thrown out.
When the inner liner of the ball mill is damaged or falls off, an obvious impact sound can be heard on the spot. If such a situation occurs, the ball mill should be stopped as soon as possible, and the damaged liner should be dealt with immediately to avoid large-scale damage to the ball mill liner.
