There are many types of limestone mills, how to choose?

Time: 2020-12-08

There are many types of pulverizers on the market, and there are countless manufacturers of pulverizers. So how should we choose the most suitable milling equipment among the many models and types?
First of all, we should be familiar with which kinds of mills are commonly used, what are their applicable processing materials, discharge particle size, and application fields of finished products.

1. Raymond Mill
Raymond pulverizer is one of the most commonly used pulverizers on the market, which is mainly composed of a host, a fan, an analysis machine and a pipeline dust removal system. It is widely used in the grinding and processing of mineral materials in the fields of metallurgy, building materials, chemicals, mining, etc. It is suitable for processing various non-flammable and explosive ores with Mohs hardness below seven and humidity below 6%. Common ore are gypsum, talc, calcite, limestone, marble, potash feldspar, barite, dolomite, granite, kaolin, bentonite, iron ore, etc. The fineness of the finished product is 0.8-0.045mm.
2. Vertical mill
Vertical mills are mainly divided into LM series vertical roller mills and LUM series ultra-fine vertical mills. Vertical mills are divided into LM vertical roller mills for the three fields of non-metallic mines, coal powder, slag powder, etc. (applicable to the non-metallic mine industry, the fineness of the finished product is between 170-33um, that is 28-425 meshes are acceptable), LM vertical pulverized coal mill (also known as medium-speed coal mill, the fineness of the finished product is generally about 200 mesh, suitable for pulverized coal boilers, blast furnace injection, coal chemical industry, Lime kiln, rotary kiln, metallurgy, electric power, cement and other industries), LM type slag vertical mill. The LUM series of ultra-fine vertical mills are based on the LM series of vertical mills, and are ultra-fine milling equipment that integrates ultra-fine grinding, grading, and conveying. They are widely used in calcite, marble, limestone, heavy calcium, and talc. , Barite, dolomite and other large-scale ultrafine grinding of various minerals with Mohs hardness below 7 and water content less than 6%.
The above two are the characteristics and applicable material analysis of our more common and commonly used mills. In addition, there are other types of mills such as overpressure trapezoidal mills, high-pressure suspended roller mills, and ring roller micro-grinding mills. There are many types and models of equipment. Only when we have mastered its characteristics and the characteristics and needs of our processed materials can we better choose the equipment that suits our needs.
